 Continuing education is a top priority for me. As a former teacher and special education assistant, I know the importance of a solid educational foundation. Real estate laws and industry standards are constantly changing.  In order to represent my clients effectively, it is critical that I am knowledgeable about these changes. I continue to earn specialized designations such as the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), At Home with Diversity (AHWD), and the ePRO to keep me up-to-date with technological advances in this rapidly changing environment. In 2008, I will earn the prestigious CRS designation – the symbol of excellence in residential real estate. Only 4% of the over 1,000,000 real estate agents have the required training and transactions necessary to be called a Certified Residential Specialist.

 In 2006, I was honored to be selected as a winner of the prestigious Aloha Aina People’s Choice Award. Unique among these awards, the People’s Choice Award honoree is chosen based on letters and testimonials submitted by clients and customers and is considered by most to be the most coveted for this reason. That I was chosen from among hundreds of nominees is a testament to my focus on Client Service.

 Community involvement is another essential part of my life. Whether it’s chairing my son’s band’s fundraiser, helping with the wrestling team’s booster club, applying makeup for Ballet Hawaii’s presentation of the Nutcracker, setting up the Parent Community Networking Center, or cleaning and renovating the many vacant affordable homes so that the homeless or those on limited incomes have a place to live, I make it a priority to get involved and make a difference wherever I can.

 My desire to make a difference was a major factor in my choice of career as a Realtor at Marcus & Associates, Inc. My clients know me for my attention to detail and my unwavering focus on making their dreams come true.
